Terms of Use

Operator: Israchem LTD Rabbiman — an educational AI character for children Last updated: 4 September 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using the app. By using the app, you — the parent or legal guardian — accept these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of the child who will use the app.

Who may use the app

The app is intended for children of approximately 5 to 12 years of age and is to be used under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By installing the app and accepting these Terms, you confirm that you are an adult parent or legal guardian of the child.

You are responsible for the child's use of the app and for compliance with these Terms.

A child may not accept these Terms independently and may not take out a paid subscription. All purchases are made by a parent.

What Rabbiman is

Rabbiman is an app featuring an AI character who tells children about the Torah, Jewish traditions, holidays and related subjects in a friendly form. The child asks questions by voice or text, and the character answers.

Rabbiman is a fictional character in an educational and entertainment service. He is not a rabbi and does not represent any community, movement or religious institution. He is not a substitute for a rabbi, a teacher, a parent or any other mentor.

Answers are generated automatically by an artificial intelligence system, are general in nature, may contain inaccuracies, and are not an authoritative religious ruling (halacha) or professional advice. For questions of religious practice, and for questions that depend on the custom of a particular family or community, please turn to a parent or to the rabbi of your community.

The app does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and is not a means of emergency assistance.

Parental responsibility

The parent or legal guardian is responsible for:

Access to purchase screens, settings and other areas intended for adults is protected by a parental gate. The parent is responsible for not disclosing to the child how to pass it.

AI-generated content

Rabbiman's answers are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. We do not warrant their accuracy, notwithstanding the content-control measures we apply and our use of a vetted knowledge base.

The parent supervises the child's use of the app and assesses whether answers are appropriate.

If a child reports a serious or distressing situation, the app may gently direct the child to an adult, but it does not replace emergency services, doctors or other professional help. In an emergency, contact the relevant services in your country.

Reporting content

If you consider any answer inappropriate, offensive or inaccurate, you may report it directly in the app using the reporting function, or write to us at the address given in the Contact section. We review such reports and take the measures we consider necessary: correcting the knowledge base, adjusting content filters or restricting access to the service.

Free use and limits

Part of the app's functionality is available free of charge, subject to a limit on the number of requests per day. Once the limit is reached, access resumes the following day.

A monthly fair-use limit may apply to subscribers.

Subscription and payment

Full access is provided through a paid subscription.

Payment and subscription management are handled through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play in accordance with their rules. We do not receive or store payment card details.

The price, billing period and the terms of any trial or introductory offers are displayed in the app before you confirm the purchase.

Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can turn off automatic renewal in the settings of your Apple ID or Google Play account no later than 24 hours before the end of the paid period. The charge for the next period is taken within the 24 hours before it begins.

Cancellation. You can cancel the subscription at any time in the store settings or through the link in the app's settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; access is retained until that date. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Trial period. If a trial period is not cancelled before it ends, the subscription automatically becomes paid and a charge is taken. Trial and introductory offers may be limited to new users and may be changed or withdrawn.

Refunds. Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's rules. Refund requests are submitted through the relevant store, not through us. This does not affect consumer rights provided by law, including any right of withdrawal where it applies.

Price changes. We may change the price of the subscription. A new price applies from the next billing period; we give advance notice of the change and an opportunity to decline renewal.

Availability. Paid subscriptions are not available in every country; where they are not, the app is provided in free mode.

Rules of use

By using the app, you agree, and undertake not to permit the child, to do any of the following:

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.

Intellectual property

The app and the Rabbiman character — including his appearance, name and voice — together with the design, texts, audio and other materials, belong to Israchem LTD or are used on lawful grounds.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose, for personal family use. You acquire no rights in its content and may not copy, distribute or otherwise use it beyond what is permitted.

Third-party services

The app relies on third-party providers, including for speech recognition, speech synthesis, answer generation and infrastructure hosting. The categories of such providers and the scope of information shared with them are described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not control third-party sites and services that may be linked from the app, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation or of fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or religious correctness of AI-generated answers.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Israchem LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for wilful misconduct, or to the extent such limitation is prohibited by law.

Changes and termination

We may change the app, its features and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected with a new update date; where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice.

We may restrict or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms or on other reasonable grounds. If access is terminated through no fault of yours while a paid subscription is active, you may request a refund of the unused portion through the app store.

You may end these Terms at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app.

Governing law and disputes

If a dispute arises, we suggest first attempting to resolve it out of court by contacting us using the details below.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and these Terms do not affect them.

Compliance with United States law

You represent that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a country supporting terrorism, and (ii) you are not on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable or invalid, it shall be modified and interpreted so as to achieve its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law; the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

A failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms does not deprive a party of the ability to exercise that right or require performance later, and a waiver in respect of one breach does not constitute a waiver in respect of subsequent breaches.
